Accessibility

We want every visitor to be able to use this website. We aim to meet the WCAG 2.1 AA standard and keep improving.

Our commitment

This site has been built to be perceivable, operable, understandable and robust, targeting the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA.

What we’ve done

  • Semantic HTML with a logical heading structure and landmark regions.
  • A “skip to content” link and full keyboard navigation with a visible focus outline.
  • Motion and animation respect the prefers-reduced-motion setting.
  • Colour combinations chosen for sufficient contrast; text resizes and reflows on zoom.
  • Descriptive link text; decorative graphics are hidden from assistive technology, and any photography we add will carry descriptive alternative text.
  • A responsive layout that works from small phones to large desktops.
